Former Yates guard Joseph Young will not be able to get out of his letter of intent to Providence College after the National Letter of Intent Policy and Review Committee denied his appeal on Tuesday. Young said that he’s unsure of his future in college basketball and reiterated that he won’t attend Providence.

El Dorado boys basketball coach Ron Vicencio allegedly had three hydrocodone pills hidden in his shoe when he was arrested, according to an arrest report released Tuesday.
Vicencio, 38, was arrested Monday at El Dorado High School on allegations that he fraudulently obtained a prescription drug. Vicencio was released from the El Paso County Jail in Downtown early Tuesday on a $30,000 bond.
