BB: Robstown names coach

Baseball news

Robstown’s new baseball coach isn’t new to the Cotton Pickers’ storied program.  Former longtime Robstown assistant baseball coach Elias Vasquez Jr. was hired Wednesday as the Cotton Pickers’ new baseball coach. Vasquez Jr. takes over for Steve Castro, who resigned this past April citing health reasons.
